Hell broke loose and a Zebra was born, or should I say, I was born. I thought I was black with white stripes, maybe I was white with black stripes. And just like that I was dead wrong from the get go. I instead had a spotted coat and small horns and a very long neck and legs, guess who I was? Though it does not matter anymore. I need to learn how to stand and walk in just few minutes after being born for the Lions are closing in on us and I still cannot manage to stand. I am a face without a name, I do not want to die like this, but will I survive to be named? My name is Lweendo, which means journey, this is my adventure story set in the savannah plains of Zambia. Rumour has it that around the Zambezi River a newly born Giraffe battles physical disability, rejection, hatred and mental illness.
