The Messenger - Part 2

Based on a true life story, The Messenger follows the life of a young Jehovah's Witness who finds himself in the most unlikely place: university. Against his conscience, he is enrolled into university and finds himself fighting to maintain his faith. In such an environment where most people have very little regard for spiritual things, he must learn to strike a balance between serving his God, Jehovah, and pursuing his wordly studies. Making his struggle even more difficult is the fact that he has been taught all his life that pursuing higher education is displeasing to his God Jehovah. However, realising that he needs an education to survive in the world, he agrees to enroll. How is he going to reconcile these two conflicting views and maintain his strong resolve to be no part of the world?
