THE BET
"The Bet" is a short story that follows the account of two friends, Chanda and Matthews, who engage in a game to see who can get the phone number of more girls while walking home. Chanda is initially reluctant to play, but eventually gets involved in the game after a bet is proposed. During the game, Chanda approaches a group of girls and declares that the next lady he meets will be his girlfriend. Matthews believes that Chanda will fail, but Chanda remains determined to win the bet.
